Funeral service for Sandy Marie Martinez was Monday, September 1, 2025, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Walter A. Wilson officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
Sandy Marie Martinez died Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in Lawton at the age of 68. She was born December 12, 1956, in Bay City, Texas, to George Samis and Edna Darlene Thompson. She grew up in Snyder, where she attended school.
Sandy and Vincent Chavez were together for several years and together had two children, Sandy Marie and Vincent Jr. She and James Crumpton later had a daughter together, Angelina Marie. Sandy later married Darnell Lipscomb, who preceded her in death.
She worked many years for Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder. She was a member of the Snyder Church of the Nazarene and the Silver Spur Riding Club.
She is survived by her two children and their spouses, Marie and Dylan Stubbs, Aberdeen, North Carolina, and Vincent Chavez, Jr and Roberta, Lawton; 15 grandchildren, Kaley, Kristen, Kaleb, Sherry Marie, Joshua, Kevon, Vincent III, Aaliyah, Jessie, MarQuesean, Vonnell Jr., DreVion, DreNezeana, Bar'Briahana and DreAndre; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy Easter and Teresa McNair; and two brothers, Robert W. McQuoid and David Hendricks.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Angelina Crumpton, a son, Raymond Martinez, a granddaughter Kare'Rihana; one brother, Bobby McQuoid, and two sisters, Debbie Perez-Diaz and Brenda Roberts.
